About Efrem Bromberg - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Efrem Bromberg is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He received his Master of Science of Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island and uses a structured approach focusing on short-term, client-driven, goals. His orientation is simultaneously educational, practical and compassionate. Efrem helps individuals, couples and families who find themselves stuck in unproductive emotional cycles.
Besides private practice, Efrem’s professional experience includes working at the Mood Disorders Clinic and the Partial Hospitalization Program (RI Hospital), and also as an agency counselor specializing in working with at-risk adolescents and their families. Before becoming a therapist, Efrem earned an MBA and worked for 20+ years as a systems analyst and business consultant, helping organizations understand where they were stuck and how they could make better use of their resources.
Efrem’s approach to therapy is grounded in his experiences in family theory, communications, parenting and as a business consultant.
